Notion Ultimate Investing Dashboard
One Investing Dashboard to Rule them all
Being an investor in 2022 is both a blessing and a curse.
On one hand, you can invest in stocks, bonds, and crypto all with a single click, and you have access to all the information and research in the world.
On the other hand, you can easily get overwhelmed by the vast info everywhere. Where does one store all their investment data nowadays?
Luckily, with this template, you can have a beautiful, customised dashboard of all your investments - an automated portfolio manager in your favourite productivity app.
Q: What's included?
A: This template is a collection of 3 distinct databases.
Database #1: Assets
This database allows you to store all the assets you invest in - stocks, cryptocurrencies, ETFs, index funds, etc. As you saw in the image above, you can add your research data individually to each of them, and then connect it to database #2, which is...
Database #2: Investments
In this database, you'll record your trades!
For example, I bought 1.04 shares of TSLA (Tesla Inc.) on the 19th of August 2022.
I can record the trade in this database like so, with the price I bought it at, the money I invested, etc. This syncs with the current price of the asset from Database #1, so I always know how much my 1.04 shares of Tesla are worth at all times.
There is a separate view where you can also group your investments by asset, so you can see how your different investments are doing in a logical environment.
Database #3: Accounts and Net Worth
If you're like most people, you don't just keep your money OR assets in one place. You likely have multiple bank accounts and trading accounts. For example, I also have a cold wallet as of recently, for my Bitcoin, so that's also separate.
You can connect the different investments you have to the Accounts and Net Worth database via relations.
It will also display what percentage of your money is in the different bank accounts (For example for me it's about 50% in my trading account, 20% in my cold wallet, 30% in my checking account, etc).
Q: How do I set up the Automation?
